Discover 500 years of surgical history at Surgeons' Hall Museums, run by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh on Nicolson Street. Three museums under one roof — the Wohl Pathology Museum, History of Surgery Museum and Dental Collection — with interactive displays, handling objects and family learning events throughout the year. Open 7 days a week, 10am-5pm, last entry 4.30pm. Recommended for ages 10+ (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). Please note the museum contains displays of human remains which some may find sensitive or distressing.
