The Cotswold Falconry Centre houses around 150 different birds of prey, from tiny Pygmy Falcons to huge Vultures and Eagles. Daily flying displays showcase over 60 species demonstrating their hunting techniques. Beyond the displays, the centre offers closer encounters through bookable experiences: the Flying Start, an hour-long session where you fly some of the birds yourself, and the Owl Experience for a deeper look at these birds. There are also all-weather indoor events in the Cotswold stone building featuring owls and raptors. The centre was opened in 1988 and describes itself as one of the leading bird of prey centres in the UK.
Open seasonally, typically mid-Feb/Mar to mid-November. 2026 season: open daily (Aug-Dec calendar showed daily admissions through 15 Nov, closed from 16 Nov). Closed Dec-Feb. Dates for each season published on the online day-ticket booking calendar.
