Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park is a beautiful 128-acre park in south Belfast, donated to the city by Lady Dixon in 1959. It is home to the City of Belfast International Rose Garden, which attracts thousands of visitors to the Summer Rose Fair each July. The park features a childrens playground, The Stables coffee shop, barbecue area, picnic tables, and three walking trails (Woodland, Meadow, and Garden). Other attractions include a walled garden, Japanese-style garden with water features, and international camellia trials. The park has been awarded Green Flag status every year since 2012. Open daily from 7.30am, with closing times varying by season.
Rose Fair held annually in July. Park may close at short notice in extreme weather.
