Now run by Belfast City Council, it features tropical plants, the famous Palm House conservatory, the Tropical Ravine, a rose garden, alpine garden, mature trees, flower beds, sculptures and childrens play areas. The park is a popular destination for families, students and tourists, and hosts concerts and festivals throughout the year. Free entry. Green Flag Award winner. Opening hours vary seasonally, generally 7.30am to dusk.

Closing times change as daylight lengthens or shortens.
