What’s there

  • Dogs welcome

Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.

Cardigan Bay Watersports runs sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding and powerboating from a purpose-built centre in New Quay. They hire equipment by the hour and offer RYA-certified courses ranging from two-hour tasters to full Level courses, plus regular Saturday Sailing sessions. Kids can join dedicated sessions including Kids' Splash and Kids' Sailing Tasters, or take part in any of the adult activities. You launch from the protected bay and can operate in most weather. Wetsuits, buoyancy aids and boots are available to hire. The centre has toilets, showers, changing rooms and lockers. They are dog-friendly. New Quay's waters are home to bottlenose dolphins, seals, porpoises and seabirds. They run school and group activities as a recognised AALA centre and are open Easter until the end of September.

Our season runs from Easter until the end of September-ish.
