Roe Valley Country Park

Roe Valley Country Park is a forested area containing part of the River Roe, south west of Limavady, County Londonderry. This picturesque and peaceful park offers riverside woodland walks along the River Roe with spectacular gorges and mature woodland. The park is approximately three miles (4.8 km) long and consists of mainly deciduous, riparian woodland on each side of the river. A visitor centre provides a cafe, exhibition space and presentation area. Located within the park, the Green Lane Museum features 19th and 20th Century artefacts depicting the history of the Roe Valley. Activities include walking, salmon and trout fishing (with permit), canoeing, rock climbing and orienteering. There are picnic facilities, BBQ areas, and free parking at four locations. The park is dog friendly and family friendly.
