East Sands, on the south side of the old harbour, is an ideal venue for a fun-filled family day out at the seaside. This sandy beach is located close to the East Sands Leisure Centre with a path on the inland side. Due to the close proximity to the harbour and sailing club, there are a lot of water sports including kayaking and paddleboarding.
