The Maltings (Berwick Maltings) is a registered charity and cultural programme bringing together film, visual art, performance and creative activity in Berwick-upon-Tweed. As a multi-venue organisation, it offers a 96-seat cinema at Berwick Barracks screening the latest family films, a youth theatre programme, hands-on creative workshops at Maltings at Hide Hill, and inspiring exhibitions at the Granary Gallery.
With U-rated family films like Minions & Monsters screened regularly, dedicated youth theatre groups, holiday activities, artist-led workshops for all ages, and a schools engagement programme, The Maltings is a fantastic family-friendly destination. The cinema at Berwick Barracks offers a relaxed, welcoming environment to enjoy film together, while the creative programme at Hide Hill gives children and young people hands-on opportunities to learn, create and build confidence through the arts.
