The Coliseum is Northumberlands first fully fledged bouldering facility, with fresh climbs set every Monday and progression for every ability. Climb in a safe, well-managed environment with clear supervision, structured inductions and strong safeguarding.
Features include Hadrians Slab, Spartacus Boulder, The Crypt Cave, Maximus Competition Wall, Kilter Board, The Pit Training Zone, and The Summit Bar for coffee and snacks.
The centre has a dedicated Childrens Climbing Room for under-8s, while children aged 8-17 may climb in the main gym with active adult supervision. Minimum climbing age is 4. Junior Club, birthday parties, and memberships are available. Shoe hire, lockers, and showers are provided on site.
Two large free car parks are located close to the venue (parking discs available at reception).
