Cantref is a working farm and adventure park in the Brecon Beacons with hands-on animal encounters, indoor and outdoor play, and outdoor activities including a sledge ride. The farm runs seasonal events: lambs being born and shows in February half term; bottle-feeding lambs and an Easter egg hunt at Easter; pig racing in May half term; foam parties, water fights and a slip & slide in summer, with character appearances from Blue the Dinosaur and Spirit the Unicorn; a pumpkin patch and Halloween activities in October; and a Christmas experience with Father Christmas. Horse riding is available for novices and advanced riders, from short treks to full-day rides in the mountains. The site also offers accommodation ranging from camping and glamping pods with wood-fired hot tubs to holiday cottages.
Open during local school holidays and weekends (Easter to Christmas). Summer holidays (July-August): open daily 10:30-17:00. Accommodation guests may have access at other times.
