Port Lympne is a 600-acre wildlife reserve across Kentish savannah, home to over 900 animals across 75 species including giraffes, zebras, lions, tigers, gorillas and three different species of rhino. The centerpiece is a 45-minute truck safari where you travel across the reserve to see giraffes in their house and paddocks, spectacled bears, camels, water buffalo, vicuna, and free-roaming deer and antelope. The reserve also has Dinosaur Valley, the UK's largest outdoor dinosaur exhibition. There are restaurants serving home-cooked food from locally sourced produce. The venue operates as a breeding sanctuary for rare and endangered animals; it does not lock animals into viewing areas, so spotting them takes time as it would in the wild.
