Newquay Zoo covers 13 acres of botanical gardens and wildlife exhibits across hundreds of species from around the world. You'll find indoor and outdoor habitats including lynx, penguins, zebras, otters, sloths and meerkats. There's an outdoor play area near the meerkat enclosure, a Tarzan Trail above the old bus stop area, and picnic benches and lawn areas throughout the grounds. The zoo includes ranger talks and live feeds with ticket admission. Food is available from Café Lemur and seasonal outlets, or you can bring your own picnic.
Our opening and closing times vary depending on the season. Current summer hours are 10:00-18:00 daily. Check the website homepage for current opening times.
