Porfell Wildlife Park & Sanctuary is a family-run animal sanctuary near Lanreath in south-east Cornwall, established in 1989 by John and Joy Palmer. Children can feed and learn about lemurs, wallabies, meerkats, capybaras, emus, tortoises and more, with daily animal encounters and talks at 12pm and 2.30pm. Highlights include the Reptile House (currently closed for refurbishment), Children's Farm Yard, Maasai village and woodland walk. Under 3s go free, no booking is required, and there is a picnic area with a children's play area. Dogs are not allowed in the park and the tearoom is currently closed, but hot drinks and snacks are available from the gift shop.

Open Saturday 28th March 2026 to Sunday 1st November 2026. Closed Wednesday 24 & Thursday 25 June 2026 all day. Hours 10:30-16:00 during the open season.
