Go Ape Haldon is a high ropes course set in Haldon Forest near Exeter, with views towards Dartmoor. The site has two courses: Treetop Challenge, the original high ropes with fast zip wires and tough obstacles for ages 10+, and Treetop Adventure, an entry-level course with tricky paths and zip lines for younger adventurers over 1m tall. The forest also has walking routes, mountain bike trails available to hire, and a children's play area. There's a café about 5 minutes' walk away with hot food, cakes and drinks. Dogs are welcome on the grounds (though not on the courses), and the site has a picnic area.
