the Go Ape car park is up the hill from the main Glentress Forest car park. Our car park is right next the cabin.
Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.
Set high in the Tweed Valley near Peebles, Go Ape Glentress Forest is home to Go Ape's highest zip line - a 325-metre-long wire soaring 160ft above the valley floor. The Treetop Challenge course (ages 10+, minimum height 1.4m) weaves through towering Douglas firs with zip wires, rope bridges and daring crossings high above the forest and mountain-bike trails. Check in at the Go Ape cabin at Falla Brae car park and arrive at least 20 minutes before your booked session. Dogs are welcome around the forest, there are two cafes within the forest, and accessible toilets and baby-changing are at the main hub. A thrilling outdoor adventure for teens and older children, about 40 minutes south of Edinburgh off the A72.
