Almond Valley spans 23 acres across natural heritage, straddling the river Almond. There's a rare breed farm, a working mill with waterwheel, a railway station, and the Scottish Museum of Shale Oil. Children can use trampolines, zip lines, trails, pedal karts, jumping pillows, a sand pit with archaeology dig, and covered indoor and outdoor play areas. You can book animal experiences including goat and alpaca feeding, tractor rides, and train rides. There's a café and Shepherd's Hut for food, covered picnic areas throughout, and water fountains.
Open daily 10am-5pm. Closed 25-26 Dec and 1-2 Jan. Train & tractors run at weekends and daily during school holidays.
