Formula Kart is a 750m go-kart circuit in a bowl-shaped arena on Blackpool's North Promenade. The track is 9 metres wide with flowing lines and plenty of overtaking opportunities. The karts are twin-engined and reach speeds of over 60mph. Junior karts are available for children from age 8 with a minimum height of 4'6" (137cm). The venue hosts corporate events, stag and hen dos, kids' parties, and endurance and grand prix style races. No experience or driving licence is needed; staff provide tuition for beginners. The circuit operates wet weather conditions with wetsuits provided.
