Grand Central is a leisure centre with two 25m pools, an oasis pool for younger children, and two water slides (for swimmers at least 1.1m tall and able to swim 25m unaided). Baby Splash and Toddler Splash sessions run for ages 0–4. The refurbished gym features interactive cardio equipment, strength training equipment including dedicated cable areas and weight machines, plus a dedicated spin studio. GL1DE is a functional training space with incline-based equipment and group classes in Strength, Sweat and Core. There's also an outdoor padel court. Swimming lessons are offered through Stockport Metro. Group exercise classes include HIIT, Body Pump, Yoga and Spin across various fitness levels.
