Tots Town is an indoor role-play centre in Hethersett (near Norwich, Norfolk) built around a child-sized town - think supermarket, cafe, doctor's surgery, town square, hairdressers, shoe shop and even a theatre. Children from walking age (roughly 1+) up to about 8 years old can take coffee orders, put on shows, examine X-rays or check mum's shoe size, with parents encouraged to play alongside.
Play runs as fixed 60-minute sessions booked online in advance (typically 4 sessions daily); pre-walkers (under 1yr) go free with a paying sibling. Each scene is designed with Early Years educators to promote self-confidence, communication skills and social awareness through believable role play. There is a free car park right outside, and socks must be worn (available to buy at reception). A great rainy-day option for families with toddlers and pre-schoolers.
