Battlefield Live is an outdoor laser combat game played on a purpose-built three-acre arena near Churston, close to Brixham. Players carry infra-red guns that register hits through sensors, so there are no paint pellets or bruises, and the arena has open fields, raised vantage points, bunkers and a mock village for different missions. Sessions are run by staff who brief each group, hand out kit and organise teams. It suits older children, teenagers and adults playing together, and it is a popular choice for birthday parties and group outings. Bookings are taken in advance, and the site has a party tent for food on the larger packages. Outdoor play means it depends on daylight and the weather, so families should check booking details before they travel.
