The Playtime Cafe is a play cafe on Canterbury Road in Hawkinge, Kent, designed so that parents can relax over a drink while their children play. The venue is split between a cafe area for adults and a fun, enclosed play space for younger children, with creative and educational activities on offer during sessions. Menus include coffee, cakes and snacks, along with a children's food and drink selection. Sessions run on a timetable across the week, with some days needing advance booking and a drop-in stay-and-play session on Wednesdays. The venue also hosts private parties, which suits birthday celebrations and small group occasions. Parking is limited to a few spaces outside the premises, with more free parking on nearby roads. It suits families with pre-school and early primary-age children looking for a relaxed indoor morning or afternoon out.
