When open, Lincoln Arts Centre is the University of Lincolns own venue on the Brayford Pool campus, programming theatre, cinema and live performance alongside a genuine family strand: Showstopper! The Kids Show, Jack and The Beanstalk (Sort of) with BSL interpretation, The Wind in the Willows at Christmas, and drop-in family art workshops. Babes-in-arms tickets are free for under-18-month-olds.
It opens around its performance calendar rather than to daily hours, so there is nothing to turn up to on a non-show day. The box office runs Mon-Fri 10am-4pm and from an hour before each performance.
Cafe Bar Mon-Fri 8:30am-6pm in term time; reduced summer hours 8:30am-4pm (mid-June to end-July). Box Office Mon-Fri 10:00-16:00 year-round. Weekend/event-day opening is event-based (about one hour before shows).
