Monkey Playland is an indoor children's play centre on an industrial estate in Haslingden, in the Rossendale valley. The main play area is large and spread over several levels, with climbing frames, slides and a wave slide, plus an astroturf football pitch and a separate area for babies and toddlers. A game zone adds inflatable bumper cars, a ladybird ride, swing chairs and an inflatable assault course. There is an on-site café serving snacks, meals and drinks, so parents can sit and watch while children play. The centre also runs children's birthday parties with hosts who look after food and activities, and it has a sensory room for children with additional needs. It suits families with younger children and primary-age siblings, and is a practical rainy-day option in the area.
