Cluedini Yarm

Cluedini Yarm is a live escape room venue where small teams are shut into a themed room and have an hour to solve puzzles, crack clues and find the way out. The Yarm branch currently runs two games: Hex, a witchcraft-themed room, and Scrumdiddlyumptious, a candy-themed game. Groups of two to six can book, and the operator says the games suit families as well as friends and colleagues. Younger children will need an adult in the group, as the puzzles are fairly demanding; the venue's own guidance is a minimum age of around eight when playing alongside an adult and eleven when playing without one. Booking in advance is required, as walk-ins are not taken. The rooms are on the top floor of a listed building with no lift, so the stairs are a consideration for visitors with limited mobility. Yarm High Street has cafes, independent shops and riverside walks nearby for before or after the game.
