Mini Monsterz is an indoor play centre on the Esk Leisure site at Ruswarp, just outside Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. The play area is spread across several levels and includes slides, obstacle courses, cargo nets and zip lines, with separate areas for babies, toddlers and older children. Older children can try the climbing wall or a laser tag session, which is run in the evenings as well as for parties. The centre runs a café open through the day with hot and cold food and homemade cakes, and it offers party packages for birthdays. Visits are unlimited once you are in, so families can arrive when they like and stay as long as they wish. It suits a wet day in the area, with younger children and older siblings able to use different parts of the play space.
