Rutland Watersports is located on the North Shore of Rutland Water. It is an AALA and RYA certified training school offering sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding. Friendly, enthusiastic and highly qualified instructors provide activities, courses and days out to suit everyone. Equipment hire available year-round including stand-up paddleboards, canoes, kayaks and rowing boats. The centre also runs holiday activity days and weeks with raft building, sailing, bush craft and orienteering. Closed every Tuesday and Wednesday from November through to March.
Summer (May-Aug): open daily 9:00-18:00 (last launch 18:00, off water 19:00); Whitwell Creek slipway closed until 10:00 Sun, creek access closes 17:15 Tue & Thu. Winter (Nov-Mar): centre closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays; 28 Oct-Jan 10:00-14:00, Feb 9:00-15:00, Mar 9:00-16:00 (last launch ~1h before close). Apr/Sep 9:00-17:00; Oct 1-27 9:00-16:00.
