Tom Roberts Adventure Centre, known locally as TRAC, is a Christian charity running a 22-acre site of open countryside on the edge of the Forest of Dean. Families can spend a day here on the outdoor side, where the offer includes an adventure playground with a challenge course and trampolines, a 55-metre zip wire, pedal go-karts, rowing and paddle boats, and frisbee golf. There is a large lake, an eco-pond with pond-dipping equipment, a forest school area and orienteering routes. Indoors there are basketball, football, table football, air hockey, pool and table tennis. Most of the centre is geared to school and youth groups, but day visitors are admitted, which makes it a good option for a larger outing with children of mixed ages.
