Perrygrove Railway is a family attraction on a farm just outside Coleford in the Forest of Dean, built around a 15-inch gauge railway that runs through grassland and woodland. Children can ride the trains all day, with unlimited rides and the option to hop on and off at four stations. Steam or diesel engines pull the trains, so younger visitors get a close look at the locomotives. Away from the track there is a treetop adventure trail with a slide and bouncy bridge, an indoor miniature village with hidden passages and secret stairs, a tunnel maze, and an outdoor play area at Foxy Hollow with swings, den building and a climbing frame. Ride-on tractors, a café and picnic tables fill out a full day, and dogs are welcome on leads. The site runs seasonal events through the year, including a teddy bears picnic and Christmas trains.
