Lewis of London is a real dairy farm on the edge of north London where families can feed chickens, meet farm animals and let children run off some energy. Its outdoor play area, Moo-land, is aimed mainly at toddlers and younger children and includes a sandy beach with toys and diggers, ride-on tractors, a field of inflatable cows and a role-play corner modelled on a milking parlour, ice cream factory and parlour. Older children are catered for by a separate inflatable fun zone at weekends and a playground. Adults can relax on deckchairs while children play, and the ice cream parlour sells farm-made ice cream. The farm also runs birthday parties and a forest school programme for young children during term time. Opening arrangements for Moo-land and the other areas are seasonal, so check ahead before travelling.
