Vivary Golf & Adventure Centre sits in Vivary Park at the top of Taunton high street, a short walk from the town centre. It is a family-friendly outdoor centre where children can work up through lower ropes, a climbing wall, a totem pole and the high ropes course, with a power fan descender also on offer. For younger players there is an 18-hole crazy golf course that is played without booking, and older families can book a tee on the full-sized 18-hole golf course. A cafe on site serves refreshments between rounds and sessions. The centre suits groups, birthday outings and families who want an active day out, and the wider park has a children's adventure play area nearby. Sessions on the high ropes run mainly at weekends and in school holidays, so families should check the current timetable before travelling.
