Crocodiles of the World is a specialist animal park on the outskirts of Brize Norton in West Oxfordshire, dedicated to crocodiles, alligators, caimans and their relatives. Families can walk through the collection, which includes underwater viewing enclosures for close eye-to-eye sightings and hatchling enclosures where young reptiles can be seen. Daily feeding displays and crocodile talks give children a chance to learn about the animals, and the zoo also keeps meerkats, lizards, snakes, a binturong and a Komodo dragon. Information boards explain the species and the conservation work behind the collection. There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and snacks, a gift shop, and an outdoor picnic area, so a visit can comfortably fill a few hours. It suits families with younger children and older reptile enthusiasts alike, and it is a practical option for a day out from Oxford, Witney or Swindon.
