Discovery Planet is a smaller indoor play area inside Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, set up for children while parents shop nearby. The play space runs over two levels and includes swing balls, web climbs, tunnels, slides, web decking and soft mats. A separate toddler area for under-4s has a small ball pit, a small slide, soft blocks, a baby ring and a seesaw. The venue says it admits toddlers and children under 10 with a height limit of 53 inches, and that children must be supervised by an adult at all times. It has been running for around twenty years and offers birthday party packages. It suits families with babies, toddlers and younger primary-age children looking for a rainy-day or shopping-trip play session in central London.
