Escape Rooms Beverley is an independent venue on Norwood, a short walk from the town centre, offering themed escape room games that teams solve against the clock. Each game gives a team of players an hour to work through a sequence of puzzles, riddles and clues to finish the adventure. The venue describes its games as suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities, and families with older children are a core audience, though some storylines carry more adult themes and are better suited to teenagers and adults. Themes change over time and include a murder mystery set on a train, a Wonderland-inspired adventure and a Beverley pub crawl challenge. Teams are usually two to six people, and larger groups can be split across rooms that run at the same time. Two games are on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible. The venue also rents a take-home escape room box for families who want to play at home.
