DanceEast is the national dance agency for the East of England, based at the Jerwood DanceHouse on Ipswich Waterfront. Families can join classes from baby and toddler sessions (Baby and Me for 0-1s, Dance for Tots for 1-4s with grown-ups) through Dance for Kids (4-7), Contemporary and Hip Hop for 8-11s, and youth dance classes for 12-18s. School holidays bring the Let's Dance holiday club, and there are family-friendly performances and workshops in the Studio Theatre. The building has step-free access, automatic doors, accessible toilets and changing facilities, and the DanceEats cafe, right on the waterfront.
