Ipswich Gymnastics Centre (branded Gymnastics in Ipswich, home of Pipers Vale Gymnastics Club) is a purpose-built indoor gymnastics venue on the south-east side of Ipswich, easily accessible from the A14 at junction 57. Opened in 1999 with National Lottery funding, the centre features a competition-standard sprung floor, bars, beams, rings, vaults and pommel, plus a tumble track, foam pits and trampolines, a separate recreational gym, dance studio and viewing balconies where parents can watch classes. Term-time structured classes cover every age: Tots Teddy Bear for children walking up to 2, Little Teddy Bear (2-3), Teddy Bear (3 to school age), then recreational beginner, intermediate and advanced classes for school-age children up to 16. Casual parent-and-toddler sessions, SEN gymnastics, junior free style and holiday Gym Playtime sessions are also available, and the centre hosts children's parties for up to 30 children. Booking and payment for casual drop-in sessions is done online. The centre is a registered charity (1064714) affiliated to British Gymnastics, ECGA and Suffolk Gymnastics Association.
