Tenpin Ipswich is a 20-lane ten pin bowling centre at Martlesham Heath, just outside Ipswich town centre with easy access and nearby retail and leisure facilities. It is a popular family destination for days out, kids bowling parties, casual games with friends and weekend entertainment, offering bowling, table tennis and pool alongside arcade machines, food and drink and a fully licensed bar.
Lanes are designed for all abilities with bumpers and ramps for younger bowlers, interactive lane lighting effects, and regular deals including Tenpin Tuesday (50% off) and Friday Frenzy (20% off). Bowling parties run as a two-hour package including bowling, pizza served on the lanes and unlimited squash. Walk-ins are welcome, but booking online is recommended for lanes and parties. The venue is step-free with accessible toilets and shows TNT & Sky Sports.

- How long should we allow for a visit with young children?
- A standard game takes around 10 minutes per person, so plan roughly an hour for a couple of games plus time for food and other activities. The venue also offers table tennis, pool and arcade games if you want to extend your visit or take a break between bowling.
- Is there food at the venue, or should we bring a picnic?
- Tenpin Ipswich has a café with food and drink available, including pizza served on the lanes for party packages. There is a fully licensed bar, though we haven't confirmed whether outside food is permitted.
- Can we just turn up, or do we need to book?
- Yes, you are welcome to walk in without a booking, though during busy periods there may be limited availability or a wait for lanes. Booking online in advance is recommended, especially during weekends, evenings and school holidays.
- What should we bring or know about for younger children?
- The venue has lighter bowling balls and bumpers for younger players to make it enjoyable for all abilities. We haven't confirmed whether it is buggy-friendly, so contact them if you need to bring a pushchair.
