Eaton Bray Village Hall is the lively community hall at the heart of Eaton Bray, set next to the 12th-century church of St Mary the Virgin with views over Ivinghoe Beacon and the Chiltern Hills. The hall hosts a packed weekly programme of children's activities: Musical Monkeys stay-and-play toddler group (Wednesdays), Cheeky Monkeys under-5s (Wednesdays, term time), Cha Char Chimps musical entertainment for young children (Mondays), children's martial arts for ages 6-15 (Wednesdays), JoAnn Latus tap, ballet and street dance classes (Tuesdays and Fridays), Curtain Call Youth Theatre (Mondays) and a monthly family cinema. The refurbished 1960s hall has a large main hall with stage, meeting room, commercial kitchen, baby changing facilities, disabled access and free parking for 70 cars, and is also available for private hire for parties, weddings and events.

- Is the hall manageable with buggies and young children?
- We haven't confirmed how buggy-friendly the hall is. The page does note step-free access and new accessible toilets with baby changing, so access should be straightforward, but you may want to contact the venue to ask about space for buggies during classes.
- Is there anywhere to eat, or should we bring snacks?
- The hall has a kitchen with full catering facilities, but we haven't confirmed whether refreshments are available during toddler sessions. It's worth asking the venue whether they sell drinks or snacks, or whether you should bring your own.
- What should I allow time-wise for a visit?
- A typical visit lasts 60 minutes. This should allow time to park, get inside, and take part in a class or activity without rushing.
- Is it still worth visiting in bad weather?
- It's entirely indoors with modern heating and lighting, so rain or cold won't affect your day. The recent refurbishment means the interior is well-maintained and comfortable whatever the forecast.
