Lagoon Watersports is Brighton & Hove's leading watersports provider, based at Hove Lagoon on the seafront at Kingsway, Hove. The shallow, sheltered lagoon is one of the best locations on the south coast for learning and practising watersports, right by the sea and close to central Brighton.
They offer cable wakeboarding, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), sailing and kayaking tuition, hire and events for adults, kids and groups. Kids can learn to sail from age 6, join holiday activity weeks, taster days, after-school clubs, birthday parties and the Tantrums kids wakeboard club. The venue has a clubhouse with hot showers, changing rooms and a cafe.
Lagoon Watersports runs two RYA training centres in Brighton; this listing is for the Hove Lagoon centre (their Brighton Marina centre is a separate venue).
Closed December to March; seasonal opening from April. Activities and hire resume mid-April.
