Sedgley Adventure Centre is a friendly, family-run animal farm in Dudley (West Midlands), set within the Mark Butler Golf Academy on Sandyfields Road. It offers hands-on animal experiences that suit children of all ages, all outdoors.
**Farm & petting sessions** — Meet alpacas, sheep, mini horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, budgies, rats, ferrets and mice. Farm petting sessions run at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00 on weekends and school holidays (no booking needed April-September). Spring brings baby lambs and baby goats.
**Farm-themed mini golf** — A 12-hole adventure mini golf course overlooking the animals, with scarecrows, haystacks and cheering alpacas. Open Mon-Fri 10:00-21:00 and weekends 10:00-17:00; no booking required. Family ticket GBP15 (2 adults + 2 children); children under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
**Experiences (booking required)** — Alpaca walks and feeding, pony petting, farm play groups, Farmer for a Day, after-school clubs, forestry fun (outdoor play in the woodland), home-education sessions, school trips (including SEN groups) and kids' birthday parties.
**On-site cafe** — Hot and cold food and drinks; only food bought on site may be consumed at the farm.
**Seasonal events** — Easter, summer, Halloween and Christmas specials; check the website's social media channels for dates. The farm closes for winter from January to the end of March, and from October to December farm and petting visits are by booking only. All activities are outdoors, so wear suitable footwear and clothing for the weather.
