Greenmeadow Community Farm is a community-run farm on the edge of Cwmbran, Torfaen, home to more than 20 species of native and rare-breed animals including Highland cattle, pygmy goats, Welsh and Kune Kune pigs, alpacas, donkeys, Shetland ponies and Jacob sheep. Meet the animals up close in the Animal Barn, get friendly in Cuddle Corner and see them roam the paddocks, or wander the wooded Dell with its pond. The all-weather day out includes a farm-inspired Indoor Adventure Play barn and an outdoor Adventure Playground full of places to climb, crawl and slide. Day tickets include free daily activities such as seasonal milking demonstrations and animal tea time. Fuel up at The Farmer's Table restaurant, a licensed restaurant open to the public serving woodfired sourdough pizzas, Welsh smash burgers and breakfast classics. Well-behaved dogs go free. Open Tuesday to Sunday 10am-5pm, plus Mondays during school holidays and bank holidays.
