Braunstone Leisure Centre, run by Active Leicester on behalf of Leicester City Council, is a great-value family swimming venue in the Braunstone area of Leicester. The centre has two 25-metre pools - a four-lane training pool and an eight-lane competition pool with a movable floor - plus an 80-station gym, six badminton courts and a sports hall with spectator seating for up to 400. Families can enjoy swim play equipment, parent-and-baby sessions and swimming lessons, and under-3s swim free. The centre hosts children's sports-themed birthday parties for ages 3 to 14, and there is a cafeteria and free WiFi on site. Pool sessions can be booked online via the Active Leicester booking system.
