What’s there

  • Parking

Small theatre car park with four blue-badge spaces (reserved in advance at time of ticket booking, first come first served). Public car park opposite the theatre with limited capacity; patrons asked to respect neighbours when parking in the vicinity.

Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.

The Rose Theatre is Kidderminster's community theatre, owned and administered as a charitable trust by the Nonentities Society. The society bought and ran the town's former Opera House from 1948, and has called the modern theatre on Chester Road North, Broadwaters, home since 1981. The fully equipped 183-seat auditorium (with wheelchair spaces on Row A) and a flexible Studio seating up to 60 host a year-round programme of plays, musicals, comedy and family entertainment, including an annual pantomime and dedicated children's shows. The theatre is also home to KRYPT (Kidderminster Rose Young People's Theatre) for ages 9-18, with Saturday sessions, and KRYPTfest summer schools in the holidays. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, and concessions apply to children under 16. There is a small theatre car park with four bookable blue-badge spaces, plus a public car park opposite.
