Facilities

We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.

The Regal Cinema is an independent, community-owned single-screen cinema and theatre in the heart of Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. Housed in a historic building on Teme Street that first opened as a cinema on 29 July 1937, the Regal is run by the Regal Tenbury Trust, a registered charity with a strong volunteer team.

Families are well catered for: the free Children's Cinema Club gives children aged 12 and under a free ticket to monthly selected family screenings (recent titles include Minions and Monsters, Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie and Coyote vs. ACME), while the annual family pantomime (2026: Jack and the Beanstalk) and the Regal School of Creative Arts keep younger visitors entertained all year round. The programme also spans classic films, live music, tribute acts and community theatre.

The auditorium has a wheelchair space with a free companion ticket (book in advance with the box office) and an adapted toilet off the upper foyer. The box office opens Mon-Fri 10am-12pm and Sat 10am-1pm, and also opens an hour before live performances and 30 minutes before film screenings. Tickets are booked online via TicketSolve or by calling 01584 811442.
