Splash Landings is the tropical indoor waterpark at Alton Towers Resort, officially known as the Alton Towers Waterpark, located inside the Splash Landings Hotel. Open almost all year round, it is one of Europe's biggest waterparks with fun for every age.
Thrill-seekers can ride the Master Blaster water coaster, twist down the Rush 'N' Rampage high-speed slides, or brave the outdoor Flash Floods flumes (open in summer). Little ones have their own splash zones including Little Leak, the Wacky Waterworks interactive play area, The Tipping Bucket and Lagoona Bay, while parents can drift along the Calypso Creek lazy river or relax in the Bubbly Wubbly pool.
Facilities include family changing rooms, lockers, free buoyancy aids and the Calypso Cave food outlet with the Ice Cream Shack. Swimwear is compulsory (swim nappies available for GBP2 at reception) and outside food is not permitted. The waterpark operates a strict adult-to-child ratio: one adult (16+) per child aged 4 and under, or one adult per two children aged 5-7; all children under 8 must be in the water with a supervising adult.
Waterpark tickets are separate from Theme Park tickets - book online in advance from GBP18.
The Alton Towers Waterpark is open almost all year round - the indoor waterpark operates through the winter when the Theme Park is closed. The outdoor area opens in summer and is closed on selected dates.
