Matlock Farm Park offers interactive animal experiences and playtime throughout the day. Scheduled activities include small animal petting, meet-the-animals encounters with goats, wallabies, meerkats, reptiles and ferrets, plus sheep races and tortoise bathing. Children can also enjoy pony rides and "the UK's largest Jumping Pillow". A new Foam Cannon attraction has been added. The schedule varies between weekdays during term time and weekends or school holidays, with activities subject to availability and weather.
1st Apr-31st Oct: 10:00-17:00 daily (extended to 17:30 on summer weekends, weather permitting). 1st Nov-31st Mar: Open daily from 10:00, closing time subject to change — check homepage. Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
