Trenance Gardens is a picturesque 26-acre green space on the edge of Newquay town centre, with rose gardens, ornamental flower beds and mature trees. Children can burn off energy in a couple of free play parks with swings and slides, while the adjoining Boating Lake offers pedal boats and duck feeding. A miniature railway runs through the park, and two dog-friendly cafés plus the 1800s Trenance Cottages tea room serve refreshments.
