Worthing Skatepark is a free outdoor concrete skatepark in Homefield Park, a Victorian town park a mile east of Worthing town centre. Originally built in 2000 with a lottery grant, the park was extensively refurbished in 2016 with new features including high grind ledges, a lower grind block, a 5ft quarter pipe, a 5ft volcano, a long round grind rail, jump boxes, a grind box and a mini ramp half pipe, all resurfaced with Utiplay for a smooth, fast ride. The integrated layout suits novices and experienced riders alike: the smaller driveway and pyramid are good for lower skill levels, while the jump box and grind box reward more technical tricks. Ideal for skateboards, inline skates and BMX. The skatepark is open all year round (not lit at night), free to use and never locked. The surrounding park also has a playground with equipment for ages 2-6 and 6+, basketball pad, football pitch, tennis courts, outdoor fitness equipment and two free table tennis tables.
