Meadowbank Park

Meadowbank Park is Dorking's main town-centre park, situated behind St Martin's Walk Shopping Centre and just a five-minute walk from the High Street. The park features a Plan Inclusive Play Area (PiPA) - the first in Surrey - with a fantastic range of equipment for children of all ages and physical abilities. Themed around local landmarks, children can scale Box Hill, jump over the River Mole, climb Leith Hill Tower and dig in Betchworth Quarry, with sensory planting to touch, smell and see. The park also offers an all-concrete, multi-level plaza-style Skate & BMX Park with a unique 'Dorking Gap', a basketball court and an aerial swing, plus a large open green space ideal for football, picnics and games. The Pipp Brook stream runs through the park to the Mill Pond, with a Willow Walk loop, wildlife including ducks, geese and swans, and the ornate Dorking Bandstand hosting music on summer Sundays. Public toilets and baby changing are available next to the cafe, and parking is available at St Martin's Walk (RH4 1DX).
