Wooded country around Loe Pool, Cornwall's largest natural freshwater lake, with seventeen miles of paths and multi-use trails through woodland, plantation and parkland. Walk the dramatic shingle bar at Loe Bar, explore an eighteenth-century walled garden being restored by volunteers, or cycle and horse-ride through the estate. The Stables Café, housed in a converted 1780s stable block, serves light refreshments and has a courtyard and indoor seating area. A second-hand bookshop and seasonal exhibition space are also on site. Dogs welcome on short leads.
