Edinburgh Leisure runs three soft play venues across the city: Clambers at the Royal Commonwealth Pool, Scrambles at EICA Ratho, and Tumbles at Portobello. Each has separate designated baby, toddler and junior play areas. Clambers features a soft play frame installed in 2022 with slides, an upper storey football pitch and other features, designed so parents can supervise within a securely gated area. Scrambles has a large separate baby area with standalone frames for toddlers (18 months–3 years) and juniors (4–10 years), viewable from the soft play café. Tumbles has distinct zones for babies, toddlers and juniors with features to develop balance and stimulate play. Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes, open 7 days a week with no need to book. Café Refresh serves coffee and cake. ASN sessions run Tuesdays 16.00–17.00 at the Royal Commonwealth Pool for children with additional support needs.
